This summer we’re holding our inaugural EARS Challenge!
The EARS Challenge is an exciting event, held at the University of Surrey from 12th to 16th July, in which participants work in teams to create unique, original solutions to problems facing the engineering world today. Prerequisite technical knowledge is not required, as the scope of the challenges allows anyone to get started, whilst those that wish to can really push themselves to new heights of technological creation. There will be a variety of challenges available, designed to cater to a wide range of interests.
The challenges are designed to be solved in diverse teams, which can either be formed on the day or assembled beforehand. Any team size is welcome!
We have organised accommodation in Guildford, however there will also be a quiet room so those just wishing to attend the hackathon can stay at the venue for the duration of the hackathon. Therefore participants staying at the university during the hackathon do not need to buy a ticket that includes accommodation. Our ticket options are designed to cater for all needs and circumstances.
New challenges will be added in the weeks preceding the event, so keep up to date by following us on this blog, Facebook at facebook.com/surreyEARS/, and Twitter @SurreyEARS. If you have any questions and would like to contact us directly, please email email@example.com.
